If you're clicking the "Save changes" button and it seems like your draft isn't saving, it could be due to a couple causes.
The most likely problem is that you're having connectivity issues. Be sure to check your internet to make sure that you haven't lost connection, and save frequently as you create your story to make sure that in the event you do lose connection, you haven't lost your entire draft.
It's possible that too much content was added before saving or in between saves (that's why we recommend saving frequently in between changes!). If one "Save" is meant to process a lot of new content, especially embeds or rich media along with thousands of words all at once, it can be a bit much for the system to process.
Also, some Android devices' operating systems aren't currently compatible with Vocal's editor. Please ensure that your Android device is running on an updated operating system. If you're having trouble, we'd recommend using a different device, like a laptop or desktop computer, to create your story!
If you are using an Android, we also recommend selecting the "View as Desktop Site" option.
We recommend clearing your cache/cookies/history and submitting your story as a new draft.
If the above suggestions are not the cause, it could be because your draft is particularly long, or has a large amount of embedded media, or another reason that the content isn't agreeing with the editor. No worries—just reach out to us here and we'll take a look.
