The text toolbar is available in draft editing mode for your posts. The screen will say "Draft" in the upper left corner.

When you highlight text, the text toolbar appears.

Text Toolbar Options:

Bold
Select the text you want to format to open the text toolbar and click the B button to apply the formatting. You can also use the keyboard shortcut ⌘ + B / Ctrl + B.

Italics
Select the text you want to format to open the text toolbar and click the i button to apply the formatting. You can also use the keyboard shortcut ⌘ + i / Ctrl + i.

Strikethrough
Select the symbol shaped like an S with a line through it to add a strikethrough to your text.

Remove Formatting
Select the text you where you want to remove formatting to open the text toolbar and click the circle with the line diagonally through it to remove all formatting.

Block Quotes
Select the text you want to format to open the text toolbar and click the " button to apply the formatting.

Headline
You can highlight the section of text you'd like to use as a heading of a section, and choose “H” in the toolbar to add it as a new title. This is an alternative to the Content Module in previous versions of Vocal—the new freeform editor makes it much easier to add and remove headlines wherever you want.

Links
To create a hyperlink in your post, select the text you want to convert into a link to open the text toolbar, click on the link icon in the toolbar to hyperlink the selected text, paste or type in a link and press the check mark to save.

Numbered List
Select the text you want to format to open the text toolbar and click the 1. button to apply the formatting.

Bullet Points
Select the text you want to format to open the text toolbar and click the • button to apply the formatting.
